M4 Design & Construction, LLC has been awarded certification as a Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB/WOSB) as per the guidelines set forth by the U.S. Small Business Administration (sba.gov).

The rigorous WOSB certification program increases the ability of women business owners to compete for major Federal contracts in 83 industries. M4 has filed under the following NAICS codes: 236117 – New Housing For Sale Builders, 237210 – Land Subdivision.

The federal rules for the WOSB contracting program were first published in the Federal Register on Oct. 7, 2010. Since then, the program has allowed contracting officers to set aside specific contracts for certified WOSBs and economically disadvantaged WOSBs to help federal agencies achieve the existing goal of five percent of federal contracting dollars being awarded to woman-owned small businesses.
